EnercitEE at the 8th Energy Conservation Days in Wrocław, 3-4 Nov 2010
The aim of the two-day conference was to discuss and popularise the idea of sustainable building in the aspect of energy efficiency, as well as to present the achievements and opportunities concerning energy conservation.

Working and Steering Group Meeting in Heraklion
From 25th to 27th October 2010 EnercitEE’s Working and Steering Group Meeting took place in Heraklion, Region of Crete.
The aim of the 3-day meeting was mainly to evaluate all sub-project applications received in the 1st Call for Proposals. All together the Mini-Programme Coordination Office received 7 eligible sub-project applications.

EnercitEE poster exhibition informs Mid- and Eastern European energy experts
The Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Goerlitz welcomed more than 300 guests on September, 15-17th when opening the 2010/2011 Science Year and celebrating its 20th anniversary of the Zittau Seminar on Energy Economy in Middle and Eastern Europe.

Upcoming closure of the 1st Call for Proposals
On Friday, 24 September 2010, the 1st Call for Proposals will close. Potential Sub-Project Participants who want to participate in one of EnercitEE’s sub-projects should make sure that they submit the application form with all the necessary annexes to the Mini-Programme Coordination Office on Friday, 24 September 2010 the latest.

1st regional poster exhibition in Saxony
The first regional poster exhibition takes place at the Lead Partner’s institution. As from 06 September 2010 the Saxon State Ministry for the Environment and Agriculture (SMUL) will host the EnercitEE poster series for approximately 4 weeks.

Available documents in EnercitEE partners’ languages
All EnercitEE documents are initially produced in the working language of the project, English. It proved, however, to be useful and appreciated by local authorities and potential Sub-Project Participants to translate selected documents into the EnercitEE partners’ languages.

Updated version of the Sub-Project-Application Form is now available
Please note that the Mini-Programme Coordination Office (MPCO) has uploaded an updated version of the application form. Small adjustments in the configuration of the worksheet needed to be done. No changes have been applied to the general structure and the cells. The document is part in the application pack for the first call and can be downloaded here.
Until 24th September 2010 Lead Sub-Project Participants have the possibility to apply for sub-projects by filling in this form and sending it to the MPCO.

Emilia-Romagna’ Regional kick-off and Infoday
The Energy Policy Dept of Emilia-Romagna Region and ASTER presented the EnercitEE project and the 1st call for proposal. The info-day meeting took place in Bologna Thursday 15th July 2010 at the Research Area of Bologna. The info-day was aimed at informing local authorities and any other potential applicants about the opportunities offered by the mini-programme EnercitEE.

EnercitEE handbook for Sub-Project Participants now online
Sub-Project Participants can obtain tailored information for their needs concerning sub-project application as well as implementation in the recently uploaded handbook.
The EnercitEE handbook is mainly a condensed version of the EnercitEE manual. It concentrates on information being relevant for Sub-Project Participants. Additionally it answers specific questions such as:

Crete’s kick-off and information Meeting
The Region of Crete started officially the “EnercitEE” project in Crete by a successful kick-off and information meeting about the 1st call for sub-projects. The meeting took place at the Conference Room of the Region of Crete in Heraklion on Tuesday 6 July 2010. The aims of the meetings were, on the one hand, to inform about the structure, the targets and the activities of the whole “Enercitee” project and on the other hand to specify the priorities of the 1st call for proposals for the related sub-projects.

Lower Silesian regional EnercitEE kick-off conference was held by the Marshal's Office of Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Wrocław on 30th June 2010.

Regional kick-off meeting in Haute-Savoie
On the 8th of June 2010, the Conseil General of Haute-Savoie has organised the regional kick-off meeting in its High Environmental Quality Building in Annecy. The president of Environment Commission has welcomed the 35 representatives from municipalities, universities, public services, associations and energy agencies who have participated in this event as well as local TV and press media that covered EnercitEE.

Saxony's kick-off meeting
Saxony has started successfully the EnercitEE project in the region. The regional kick-off meeting took place in Dresden Tuesday 8 June 2010.
The organisers of the event aimed at informing about the project itself, presenting the up-coming first call for proposal and the EnercitEE sub-project priorities and attracting possible applicants.
