Emilia-Romagna’ Regional kick-off and Infoday

The Energy Policy Dept of Emilia-Romagna Region and ASTER presented the EnercitEE project and the 1^st call for proposal. The info-day meeting took place in Bologna Thursday 15th July 2010 at the Research Area of Bologna. The info-day was aimed at informing local authorities and any other potential applicants about the opportunities offered by the mini-programme EnercitEE.

The developing scenario of the Regional energy policies towards the 20-20-20 goals and the contribution expected from EnercitEE as well as the regional priorities under this call were the key issues of the first part of day. The EU Policies and International Relations Office of the Region presented the INTERREG IVC program and the other territorial cooperation projects running in Emilia-Romagna Region under the thematic priority 2 “Environment and risks prevention”.

ASTER concluded the first part of the day with technical detail on this 1^st call for proposals (how presenting a proposal, how finding a partner, eligible applicants, evaluation procedure, administrative rules, funding scheme etc.).

More then 30 participants took part (eg. Municipalities, University and Research Centers, Energy Agencies, Consulting companies and Development Agencies).

Local Authorities’ interest was very high on the priorities and on the theme tackled, however concerning the funding scheme they stressed the difficulty to anticipate funds during this crisis period.

In the afternoon potential applicants had the opportunity to present and discuss their project ideas with the EnercitEE regional managers (a on-line registration form was available in order to plan the meetings).
